Their Story

Meet Apache

Apache arrives to L.E.A.N. in early November. He is approx 10 years old and a stallion.

He is castrated immediately and recovers at Desert Pines Equine, where it is discovered he is a “roarer”, or has partial laryngeal paralysis.

He moves into foster care in early December and will be assessed for adoption after the holidays.

April update – Apache has been diagnosed with roarers and has a chronic lameness issue. He will be offered as a companion animal only.

With his stunning good looks, Apache is the cover horse for our 2019 L.E.A.N. Calendar

This handsome boy needs an intermediate handler for his energy and strength.
