Forrest
Their Story
Meet Forrest

This sweet elderly Arab gelding falls victim to neglect and is seized by Animal Control. “Forrest” is intake #73 and arrives to L.E.A.N. in late December 2018 needing all sorts of help.

Forrest is laminitic in the front with elf shoes (overgrown hooves due to neglect) and degenerative flexor tendon desmitis in the right rear. He is lame but mechanically, he does not appear to be in pain.

He is fostered by veteran L.E.A.N. foster Nikki Walpole and receives a warm blanket, plenty of food and attention to his medical conditions.

Just before Easter 2019, Forrest is adopted and find his forever home.
