Meet Rose
This sweet pony mare was surrendered to Animal Control when her owners moved and could not take her. She is a 5-yr old Appaloosa. She was examined by Desert Pines and found to be blind, probably since birth.
She settled into foster care with a new L.E.A.N. foster who had a horse needing some companionship
She even became a covergirl on the Valley Horse News cover in Oct 2015!
In Spring 2017, her foster famly formally adopted little Rose.
