Vanna was a lovely, frightened pony mare found loose in Overton in Jan 2013 and picked up by Animal Control; her owners were located, but they did not want her
This beautiful girl did well in foster care and was learning to trust again. She was put on aggressive psyllium therapy to hopefully move alot of sand heard in her belly.
Despite clearing sand in her manure, six months after intake she suffered a colic and was taken to clinic.
Unfortunately after 3 days in hospital Vanna lost her battle with sand colic and secondary peritonitis
On to Greener Pastures
